- DANE VOSLER-

OF FREEDOM

A psalm

AUGUST 29, 202

Be careful your freedom doesn’t get confused with comfort.

When your soul is free, you can go work in any place; in the darkest of caves, amongst the lowest of people and your soul can sing knowing that you are truly free.

When your soul has hope, you know that every minute is mission, every person is potential, and every day is one step closer to the picture in your heart.

When your soul has vision, you will outwork and outwit those trying only to protect the status quo. You can rebuild entire kingdoms and still stop for the homeless man on the side of the road.

Saving is good, and planning is smart, but who risks postponing the present?

Be rich, seek good things, and enjoy the comforts if only for a moment.

To die is gain, and to pain is progress, and even those last only for a moment.

Comforts come and go, just like death, but through both you can be fully alive.
